There was jubilation on Sunday morning at Lamogi Pentecostal Assembly Church in Olwal, Amuru district when Mr Gilbert Olanya, the Kilak County Member Of Parliament delivered 50 pieces of iron sheets to the church for the construction of a durable roof instead of the grass-thatched one the church currently has.

Olanya while delivering the iron sheets said many Pentecostal churches in Amuru are still grass thatched and challenged Christians who pray in them to start making contributions towards making all the PAG churches in Amuru have iron sheet roofs.

“We must all take responsibility of making our churches look good. Incase God gives you a good harvest in your garden, sacrifice a bag of simsim or groundnuts for the roofing of the church,” Olanya said.

Mr Nockrach Brilliant Gilbert, one of the youth pastors in the church who received the gift on behalf of the church said that the 50 iron sheets will help them construct a permanent roof straight away
