    Obol to Grace Luo concert in Canada

    Mr Justine Obol Simple man, a local musician from Northern Uganda has been invited to perform at a Luo concert set to take place in Canada.

    He will be performing for the Luo from South Sudan and Uganda who are living in Canada.

    The concerts will be in Winnipeg and Edmonton in Alberta Canada from the 2nd September to the 14 of September

    Mr Obol confirmed to Acholi times and also said that he has missed very many concert outside Uganda including Denmark, United Kingdom, Finland due to being denied Visas by the respective Embassies.

    He however said he is humbled by the Canadian embassy that has given him the chance to perform in Canada.

    “This is a great achievement because it has always been hard for me to move outside Uganda to do music since I was frequently denied Visa but Canada helped me out this time ‘Obol told this reporter.

    According To Obol the program is meant to take two weeks where he has been requested to sing mostly songs that promote the Acholi culture.
