One person was killed and 30 huts set ablaze in fresh clashes over land between residents of Adjumani and Amuru district over a land dispute, the police has said.

Speaking at a press briefing at the Northern Uganda Media Club on Monday, the Aswa regional police spokesman Patrick Jimmy Okema said the incident happened on Saturday.

Juka village is claimed by both Amuru and Adjumani districts.

The deceased has been as named as Joseph Onek, 35, a resident of Apaa village in Pabbo sub county Amuru district. Police says he died from an arrow shot on the rib  while on what it is said to be the Adjumani side of Juka village. The deceased had, according to  the police, gone to clear a piece of a land claimed by residents of Adjumani district.

Relatives of the deceased from Amuru ganged up and attacked residents of Zoka on the Adjumani side, setting ablaze 30 huts. No suspects have been arrested in both the murder and arson case.

Sometimes,we need to be bolt and tough on issues of Juka Village, Apaa Sub Parish,Amuru District.
The background of the story is sad that it is killing our fellow Northerner, while the trouble causer are enjoying over the peasant negligence.
General Moses Alli is current problem causer as a man made dispute.He(Gen.Moses Alli) received large amount of money from Brush Willie-The South African Farmer, now with 400 Acres at Nyamokino in Nwoya District, that there is a large piece of Land at Juka, not knowing that Juka belongs to Pabbo Sub County with the Apaa Community Farmers,up to Juka Village(Hon MP of Kilak South,Gilbert Olanya produced the Colonial boundary document to President Yoweri Museveni in Gulu in 2016).The President was satisfied with the document and the border was remain as it was marked by colonial British rulers.
Prime Minister Ruhakana Rugunda met Acholi and Ajumani Elders as a way foward to settle the Juka problems.
Before he could resolve it ,Police and the Army attacked Apaa Farmers.Who was behind all the attack? according to an inside source in Ajumani it was General Moses Alli.
My suggestion is that,Why cant we review Prime Minister Regundas out come of that meeting with the Acholi and Ajumani Elders?
Who gave order to Police and the Army to attack Apaa Farmers?
My Remark:All Acholi Politicians are so blinded that they didnot draw conclusion from other fellow Nation Pliticians, other wise the broad day injury inflicted on Juka Village and Apaa People could have been stopped long time ago.
