A medical personnel attached to God is Able, a private clinic in Pabbo Town Council, Amuru district has been arrested by police for allegedly defiling a 12-year- old girl.

Godfrey Sammy was picked on Sunday afternoon after a Primary 4 Pupil of Pawel Primary School complained to her parents that he had defiled her.

Sammy allegedly defiled the girl in the examination room at God is Able clinic, where she had been taken for treatment.

A case of defilement—CRB reference number CRB ES/09/06/01/2019 – has been registered against Sammy at Pabbo Police Station.

By press time, the girl was yet to put on Post-exposure prophylaxis, or PEP, to prevent her from contracting HIV infection after a possible exposure to the virus.

Patrick Onencan, a paternal uncle to the victim said on Sunday that the girl was taken to the private medical facility after she complained of ill-health.
