    Agago MP Survives Accident

    Edward Makmot Otto, the Member of Parliament for Agago County in Agago District escaped unhurt after the vehicle he was travelling in overturned at Pajule Sub County in Pader District on Saturday morning.

    MP Makmot was travelling to Lamita in his constituency to attend a security meeting when the land cruiser vehicle he was in veered off the road overturned. The legislator was in the car with three other occupants including the driver, his escort and a friend. All the occupants escaped without injuries.

    In a telephone interview Sunday afternoon, Makmot said none of them is complaining of any pains following the road accident. The MP said after the accident, he proceeded to Agago district and attended the scheduled security meeting without any problem.

    In December last year, Odonga Otto, the Member of Parliament for Aruu County in Pader district was involved in a road accident at Katugo, Nakasongola District. The MP was travelling from Gulu to Kampala in a Toyota Prado Reg. No. UBA 832S.

    The Aruu county MP was dischared from hospital and is recuperating from home, according to his wife, Juliet Otto.
