    Olweny David, 39 year old is seeking help from well wishers to contribute towards his cancer treatment
    David Olweny, 39, is seeking financial assitance from well wishers for treatment.

    David Olweny, 39, a resident of Dara ward, Agengo Parish, Lira Palwo Sub County in Agago district is seeking help from

    Olweny sickness began in 2004, and that since then he has been in pain and unhappy.

    Olweny told Acholi Times that he sought treatment at St Mary’s Hospital Lacor in 2008 but that the cost of treatment was too high for him to afford.

    Olweny is now appealing for financial support to enable him get treatment.

    ‘‘I can take up to two minutes to drink a cup of water,’ he explained his pains in an interview with Acholi Times.

    Pader district health officer, Alex Layoo said Olweny’s cancer can best be treated in Mulago and can cost up to 8 million shilling.

    Rev. Jefferson Olweny of Lira Palwo church of Uganda is calling upon well-wishers to contribute towards the medical treatment of Olweny whom he says needs urgent medical treatment to improve his chances of survival.
