A 32 year old man was on Tuesday morning found dead in Gulu.

The body of Bosco Otto, 32, was found in Paicho trading centre, along the Gulu- Acholibur road.

It is suspected he was involved in a hit and run accident.

Police say statements taken from residents of Paicho trading centre indicates that the late Otto was last seen on Monday evening at 10pm as he left a bar.

The body of the deceased has been taken to Gulu Referral Hospital mortuary, according to Patrick Okema, the Aswa River region police spokesman.

In another incident, a four year girl is nursing broken legs and an arm at St Mary`s Hospital Lacor in Gulu after being hit by a vehicle registration number KBT 855Z. The vehicle was being driven by one Reagan Ocen, a 34 year old Kenyan national from Kisumu in Western  Kenya. The accident occurred at Palenga Bridge along the Gulu-Kampala highway. The vehicle has been impounded at Bobi police station in Omoro district pending investigation. The driver of the vehicle is also detained in the same location.
