Ms Sharon Laker Balmoyi, an aspiring candidate for Woman Member of Parliament under the National Resistance Movement (NRM) ticket claims she fears for life after relieving people she suspects are political opponents vandalized her vehicle.

The aspirant’s vehicle was vandalized from her home in Pece Division, Gulu municipality on September 25, 2015 by unknown persons.

She says the vehicle’s windscreen was broken and the dash board also destroyed on that night by criminals she suspects were sent by her political opponents.

Balmoyi says this incident was followed by dismantling of electricity power line of her home on September 27, 2015 just a few days after her vehicle was damaged.

The yet unknown person who vandalized the vehicle is said to have left behind his sandals at the scene.

Balmoyi said she have never had a grudge with any person both politically and casually.

The case has been reported to police who have promised to carry out an investigation over the matter and arrest the culprit.
