    DP President Mao lost his father today morning at around 4 am

    The father to Democratic Party President  Norbert Mao is dead.  Dusman Okee Senior,  died from his home at about 4am in Jinja district where he worked, retired and  has lived for more than two decades.

    ”With great sorrow I announce the death of my father Dusman Okee (Jan 5, 1942-Jan 3, 2016). Father, teacher, mentor, soldier and cereal chemist. To me he was both father and mother. We called him the lion.”– the DP President  said in a statement posted on his social media account on Sunday morning.

    Mr Okee, 73, died from Njeru where he lived and had once served as a Councillor in the sub county.  He reportedly died from complications caused by hypertension. His body will be transported for burial in Gulu tomorrow(Monday), according to a family source. Okee has a home in Lacor, 6 kms from Gulu town.
