The NRM candidate for Nwoya Woman Member of Parliament Judith Peace Achan has disputed the outcome of the elections which declared independent candidate Lilly Adong the winner.
Adong had lost in the NRM primaries to Judith Peace Achan and decided to contest as an independent.
Achan came second with 9,003 votes while incumbent Lilly Adong got 12,516 votes.
“I can’t yet specify some issues since it’s still under investigation but am not satisfied with the results, ‘’ Achan said on Saturday.
Former MP Simon Oyet of FDC bounced back 8,187 votes beating six opponents.
