The Archbishop of Gulu Archdiocese John Baptist Odama has asked Christians and church leaders to pray from home as Uganda and the world battles the coronavirus pandemic.
Bishop Odama said this yesterday while addressing the press at his residence at in Bardege Division, Gulu municipality.
Odama said Gulu Archdiocese supports the presidential directive banning all public gatherings including prayers in churches for 32 days.
The Archbishop urged believers to be close to God in trying moments while taking the precautionary step of praying from home.
In adherence to the presidential directive, Holy Rosary, Cathedral, Holy Cross and Holy Family churches in Gulu district, among others, all under Gulu Archdiocese were all under lock and key following the presidential directive.
