Former Amuru Resident District Commissioner James Nabinson Kidega has been declared winner of the belated NRM party primaries in Aruu South in Pader district.
Kidega got 11,476 followed by Odong Lawrence who came second with 6,649 while Cana Francis came third with 615.
Kidega is likely to face Akampa Bernard of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC).
In the newly created Tochi South, Francis Obutu defeated seven other contestants tallying 2,096 votes, followed by Wadok Francis Awori who got 1,111, Kilama Felix came third with 972.
Other contestants in Tochi South included Nyapolo Rose(937), musician Atim Grace Olayowiya( 525), Ocieng Isaac(284), Odong Latek(162) and Nyero Francis(27).
In Chua East Constituency in Kitgum, State minister for Foreign Affair, Henry Okello Oryem won as the NRM flag bearer with 16,279 beating Aber Phoebe Loum the daughter to the late Bishop Janani Loum who garnered 5,467 votes while Acan Lucy came third with 453 votes.
