Mr Mwaka Lutukumoi, the Deputy Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Lira has said he is ready to face Politicians who want to turn Ker kal Kwaro Acholi into a joking subject.

Mr Lutukumoi is the former Democratic Party (DP) Spokesman and also Former minister of information at Ker kal Kwaro Acholi

He was appointed RDC after crossing to NRM .

Lutukuomoi who was on Wednesday handing over his book “The Luo secret” to Rwot Acana told the press that he is collecting evidence on politicians who have failed in Parliament and want to turn Ker kal Kwaro their joking place.

“They have failed to deliver for the local man and when you hear them talk on Radio about the cultural institution, you get shocked and you wonder whether they are Acholi,” Mr Lutukumoi said.

Rwot David Onen Acana II, the Acholi Paramount chief also during the same function received “But my Heart “a book authored by Acholi times James Onono Ojok.

The paramount chief challenged Youth in Northern Uganda to wake up and start documenting their history without waiting for the western world to come and do it for them.

He said most of the literature documented on the Northern Uganda war are Fictious stories done by the foreign students who normally compile it when they are doing their research in the region.

He thanked Lutukomoi and James Onono for starting a move to see that the northern Uganda issues are fully documented by the northerners themselves and taken to the world market to also show that Acholi are highly knowledgeable people.

To some people, they are making valid criticisms while to you valid criticisms are insults. In any case who are you to order people to stop exercising their rights to express their opinions just because the criticisms are inconvenient opinions? What if they in turn order you to stop issuing orders to silence people. In any case, it is a useless order because you cannot enforce it. Not everyone is a “chief, you kill me with laughter”.
