    Nwoya Police Holds Woman Over Death of 50 Year Old Man

    Police in Nwoya district is holding a woman in relation to the death of a 50 year old man.

    Okot Mone was founded dead on Thursday in Ladyema Village in Bajere Parish, Lungulu Sub County, Nwoya district.

    The deceased was reportedly last seen drinking in Ladyema trading center before he was found dead, according to Denis Atube, the LCIII chairman of Lungulu.

    Emily Afoyocan the Community Liaisons officer for Nwoya confirmed the death of Okot Mone and said Mary Aciro, a relative of the deceased has been arrested and detained by police.

    “We are holding her to help us in the investigation the fact that she was last seen with the diseased that makes her the prime suspect,”  Afoyocan told Acholi Times.
