Police in Gulu is investigating circumstances under which two young girls were found dead Friday morning in Gulu.

The deceased have been identified as Miriam Atim 16 and the other was only identified as Sharon, 14.  Both were found dead in a house in Layibi central ward, Tegwana parish in Pece division.

The body of the duo were found lying face-down locked in the house.

The girls reportedly had supper with their family around 10:00 pm Thursday night before they went to their room to sleep.

The Officer In-charge crime at the Gulu central police station James Asubu said the lifeless bodies were found with no injury. Asubo said police suspects suffocation or food poisoning.

No means of testing for poison in a whole district – so many things have to be taken up to Kampala. When are you going to stand on your own two feet?

Acwar kece Aswa – different word altogether. Wun lucoc bene wunen ni wugwoko ngec matir kit ma wan Acoli wamito ni wilobo guwiny.
