Aruu South Member of Parliament Samuel Odonga Otto on Monday donated one million shilling to go towards renovation of Pece Stadium which next month is expected to host the East Africa Athletics games competition.

At least 6,000 people from across East Africa are expected to attend the games which will take place from August 17-27.

Odonga Otto donated the money through his Signature Casino, a bar, discotheque and Casino in Gulu town.

Odonga revealed that he was prompted to make the donation after a visit over the weekend to see construction work at Pece Stadium and found out that the stadium needed more donations from the public to complete renovation works.

Martin Ojara Mapenduzi, the Chairman central executive committee for the event and also Gulu district chairman welcome Odonga’s donation. Mapenduzi said the district still needs at least 150 million shilling to go towards renovation of the stadium. He called on members of the public to contribute more towards the renovation of Pece Stadium.

CASINO the work of the devil. Please visit the American Indian Reserves, Australian Outback. Remember the house always wins and the poor region will get all its money siphoned. One good thing though is that the good MP will nothave to buy another whiskey shot again.
