    Nwoya Teenager commits suicide after being caught having sex with Sheep

    A 17-year-old boy has committed suicide by hanging after in Pabit- Kweyo sub-ward, Anaka Town Council in Nwoya District after he was reportedly caught by relatives having sex a with a sheep.

    The deceased, Francis Oloya died by hanging on November 27, 2020.

    Police said he used his belt to end his life.

    His body was found dangling on a tree hours after he left home.

    A case of suicide by hanging was registered at Nwoya Central Police Station under CRB number SD  53/27/11/2020.

    Jimmy Patrick Okema, the Aswa River Region Police Spokesperson said family members of the deceased had been disciplined by family members after the bestiality act.

    Police say his body was handed over to family members for burial.

    Bestiality is considered a serious crime in society. According to Uganda’s Penal Code Act, any person who has carnal knowledge with an animal is guilty of an offence and liable to imprisonment for life.
