Police in Gulu town on Friday morning, 18th/9/2015 discovered an unidentified dead body of a young man aged between 25 and 28 at Lajwar-Tek village in Koro Sub County.
Mr James Asubu, the Gulu O.C crime said the body of the deceased was found dumped in a ditch with a swollen neck which leads police to suspect that he was murdered by unknown people.
The deceased was wearing a black T-shirt, pink blue jacket labelled electric run at the front and at the back written NEFF with a black trouser.
He said the body was taken to Gulu regional referral hospital mortuary after a post mortem was done.
He said investigation on what could have caused the death was on going and appealed to members of the community to help police with the investigation.
Asubu however asked relatives with missing members to visit the police or the mortuary.
Mr Boniface Anywar, the area chairman one however said the deceased is not a member of his area and suspects that he was brought from a far place and dumped there by his killers. He said police were alerted after community members discovered the dead body.
