Bostify adds that the council will combine councilors from Pader and Agago district on since the late Gatete served both districts.

The late Gatete was councilor V, Lira Palwo Sub County then, under Pader district between the years 2006 – 2011.

He in 2011 contested for Agago County Member of Parliament flag bearer under the NRM ticket and emerged 5th with 3,347 votes.
