Police divers have called off search for the missing Kenyan engineer who drowned in River Aswa over two weeks ago.
Joseph Wafula, a consultant with a swa Hydro Power 1 drowned after the dingy he was travelling in capsized in rough waters.
It was only the body of Charles Komakech who was recovered by the police divers.
Wafula and Komakech were conducting a test on the on the river to test the viability of Aswa hydroelectric project when their dingy capsized on November 25.
Police has launched an appeal to the residents who live on the margin of River Aswa to join in the hunt for the missing Kenyan national.
Jimmy Patrick Okema, the Aswa River Police Spokesperson said they called off the search after failing to locate the body of Wafula.
According to Okema, the operation was suspended after one week.
Okema said the police will invite the UPDF to conduct an aerial search for the body of the missing Kenyan national.
