Suspects arrested in connection with the murder are Richard Ojok and his wife Pamella Akello, Ojok’s mother Christine Kilwara and Washington Opira, 23.

Alex Ojera an eyewitness told police that the deceased on Wednesday evening attempted to rape Akello who was alone at home but he fled after Akello made an alarm. The matter was reported to Paicho Police Station.

Ojera explained that Orach returned in the neighborhood  the very evening  of the attempted murder and was apprehended by family members who pounced on with fists and sticks.

The eye-witness added that the suspects arrested and others still at large later tied up their victim with a rope, continued beating him as they dragged him towards River Aswa where they dumped him.

Patrick Jimmy Okema, the Aswa River Region Police Spokesperson said the suspects were arrested on Thursday and are being held at Gulu Central Police Station. Police say they will be charged with murder.

There are so many free women looking for a husband and can not find any, why did you not help him find a wife for himself, it is not difficult. He should have been given reasonable punishment instead.
