    TDA Elect Mbabazi’s Campaigns Taskforce For Acholi

    Members of The Democratic Alliance (TDA-U) in Acholi sub region have finally elected committees that will lead the campaign for independent presidential candidate Amama Mbabazi.

    The committee is made up of mobilization, security, youth, special interest groups, veterans and logistics.

    Dr Freddie Oyat who was elected Chairperson of the committee on Wednesday in Gulu town said the committee is tasked with soliciting for votes for Mr Mbabazi and other candidates under the TDA (U) in Gulu, Amuru and Nwoya districts.

    Dr Oyat added that the taskforce will also solicit for funds to facilitate candidates under the alliance.

    Dr Oyat is a former member of the ruling NRM party. He acknowledged that they are facing challenges with funding but insisted that it won’t deter them from reaching every village in the sub region.

    He asked members of the committee to make personal sacrifices for the sake of winning the elections.

    While addressing the task force members in Gulu on Wednesday, Olara Otunu, the National Chairperson in charge Mbabazi’s campaign a similar taskforce has been establish in Kitgum, Agago, Lamwo and Pader districts.

    Otunu says TDA has also formed campaigns committee countrywide and are tasked with hunting for votes for Mbabazi and others aspirants.

    Otunu and Norbert Mao, the DP president General are the two key opposition politicians leading campaigns for former Prime Minister, Mbabazi.
